CONTAINER SETTLING:
Settling does occur during shipping and being handled in your kitchen. This happens because of the heavier ingredients such as Chromium, Copper, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Selenium, Vanadium, and Zinc.
Before first use and once a week thereafter, fluff the contents in your container by removing the spoon, reattaching the lid, and shake lightly until the contents feel consistent with each light shake.
DRINK MIXING:
The easiest way to overcome any mixing issue is to use a frother, a shaker tumbler, or a blender, but here is a tip if only a spoon is available.
~ Add Antioxed and then the beverage/fluid before mixing with a spoon. When mixing with a spoon, a few clumps may be present because the non-water-soluble items such as Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin A, D3, E, and K1 tend to form groups when fluid is introduced. When pressed flat with the back of your spoon, these groups dissolve quickly. The total spoon mixing time is 15-20 seconds provided Antioxed is added before the fluid.
FORCE DISSOLVE: (for Milk & Juices)
Milk and juices contain certain proteins, fats, sugars, and higher PH levels that can interfere with the solubility of supplement powder’s molecular structure. Specific ingredients in supplement powder can affect the solubility of these drinks. Some ingredients may be more hydrophobic (water-repelling) or hydrophilic (water-attracting), impacting how well they dissolve in different liquids.
Supplement powders dissolve better in warmer liquids (warm milk), or you can force-dissolve them. Force dissolving is adding a teaspoon of the beverage (milk or juice) to a half serving or 2 teaspoons to a full serving of Antioxed. Then stir to a creamy consistency before adding the remaining beverage amount. A few more light stirs will be necessary before enjoying.
DRINK TEMPERATURE:
Antioxed & Hot Beverages:
We recommend adding your 1/2 or full serving to a glass or tumbler before adding the desired beverage. Because our probiotics are living organisms, mix Antioxed into your mug or glass after the hot beverage (coffee, teas, cocoa, etc.) has had time to come down to a temperature less than 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This will extend the life of our probiotics as some strains within our probiotics blend begin to expire at 140 degrees.
A study was done on immune-compromised people who could not take live probiotics and the probiotics were heat-killed by heating them to 158-200 degrees for 20 minutes.^ More studies are needed but they indicated there were some benefits to ingesting heat-killed non-living probiotics. ^ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26956126/ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28884589/
Antioxed & Cold Beverages:
Glass or Cup Mixing: We recommend mixing your Antioxed with unchilled beverages and then adding ice. Adding chilled beverages to your Antioxed serving is doable but can extend the mixing time by 50% (using a spoon). If using a frother you can mix your beverage(s) at any temperature. But always add ice after mixing is complete.
Shaker Tumblers: As long as the lid is sealable there are no rules. Add anything, in any order.
DRINK SETTLING:
As with Container Settling above, settling will happen in your glass, cup, mug, or sports tumbler because of the heavier ingredients such as Chromium, Copper, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Selenium, Vanadium, and Zinc.
It’s advised to lightly stir (can use a straw) or shake your drink before each drink or sip when it’s in a hot or cold beverage. Settling is not an issue when mixing or blending into thicker drinks, shakes, or smoothies.
SPLIT YOUR DAILY SERVING:
It is not necessary to split your daily serving, but doing so can disperse the nutrients throughout the day. Because certain nutrients are better absorbed before a meal or healthy snack, consume Antioxed 30 minutes before a meal, preferably breakfast, and a healthy mid-afternoon snack or an earlier dinner. And use daily for beneficial outcomes.
